Anita has a proven track record in Talent Management
with a focus on learning, leadership development, and
diversity. Her experience spans a range of industries and
locations including the public sector (at United Nations,
Vienna), pharmaceutical (at Merind, Mumbai), shipping (at NYK,
Tokyo), beverages (at Tata Tea, Kolkata) and IT (at IBM,
Bangalore & Mumbai).
Before her current role at IBM, she has held a number of
leadership roles including Head of India Leadership
Development, India Diversity Leader, Member of the IBM Global
Design Team, and Leadership Development Leader for the
Americas, ASEAN, ANZ, Korea, and Japan.
In 2009, she was awarded the WILL Women’s Choice Award
for her "deep passion, outstanding commitment, and high
delivery in the field of inclusivity and gender equality."
A graduate from Harvard University & Chevening Fellow at
the London School of Economics, Anita is passionate about
sharing her expertise by speaking at a variety of conferences
including the National HRD Conference, CLO, Community
Business, CII, AIMA, Inventicon, Transformance Forums, World
HRD Congress, and NASSCOM sponsored conferences. She has
designed and delivered a course on "HR in Practice: A
Corporate Perspective" to honours students of the BMS at
Xaviers' College, Mumbai. She has also written and been
interviewed in national publications including the Economic
Times, Times of India, Human Capital, Chief Learning Officer,
Business Today, Business Manager, People Matters, All Things
Talent, and Indian Management.
